Ever feel like you’ve barely had time to process one year before the next one rolls around?

One moment, you’re handing out Halloween candy, and the next, 2026 is already gone. It’s easy to feel like the year just slipped through your fingers. Where did all that time go? What did you learn from it? Who did you become, and who are you becoming?

Now, with 2027 rushing toward us, we have one precious chance to take a moment and pause. To create a ritual that transcends the anxieties and worries of today and looks at the longer horizon.

What if, instead of rushing ahead, you could take the time to celebrate the wins, learn from the challenges, and use those insights to shape a more intentional, fulfilling year ahead?

(Especially if you weren’t totally satisfied with this past year and want 2027 to be different.)

The single most impactful practice to boost your clarity, motivation, and productivity in 2027

What’s the “secret” to starting the new year with confidence and focus? An annual life review.

Now is the perfect time to step back, reflect on everything you’ve experienced over the last year, celebrate your wins, and process your challenges. By looking back, you’ll gain powerful insights that will help you create a clear vision and set meaningful goals for 2027.

I’ve spent over 10 years refining this process to help you tap into your own subconscious fears, desires, and limiting beliefs. Together, we’ll walk through a step-by-step framework that’s designed to empower you to achieve your goals and stay motivated throughout the year, and beyond.

Introducing My New Book: Life in Perspective

After 18 years of doing my own annual life reviews and 5+ years of guiding hundreds of people through the process, I’ve brought my complete methodology to a wider audience through my new book, Life in Perspective, out November 3, 2026.

In it, I share the ARC Method, the three-stage process at the heart of every annual life review:

  1. Appreciate the Past
  2. Reflect on the Present
  3. Create the Future

It’s a structured way to gain clarity, celebrate your growth, and set meaningful intentions for the year ahead.

“Let me put it this way: if you had a banner year where everything just clicked, take this course. And if you had one of those years where it felt like the universe was using you as its personal punching bag, definitely take this course. Honestly, just take it. It’s the gift you didn’t know you needed but will wonder how you lived without.

In a world that feels like it’s on 2x speed, where days blur into weeks, this course gives you something rare and priceless: time to pause, breathe, and actually think.

Tiago has this almost annoyingly genius way of turning what could feel like a boring chore, reviewing your year, into this surprisingly soulful and creative process. It’s like therapy, but with Post-it notes and a lot less crying.

You’ll look back on your year with more gratitude than you thought possible, and somehow, you’ll come out the other side with clarity about what’s next. I don’t know how it works; it just does. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself for it.”

Join the Live Experience (Dec. 3 - Jan. 21)

Our team will walk you through your annual life review step by step in six live sessions on Thursdays at 12 pm ET. Each 60-minute session recaps the key ideas, then gives you guided time to do the exercises together with the community. Every session is recorded.

There are no prerequisites or requirements to join. Whether you’re a seasoned planner or new to the concept, you’re welcome here.

“This was the most thorough Annual Review and goal-setting exercise I did in all my life (and I have done dozens). It makes a lot of sense to “front load” the work by taking the time to analyse the past year, pondering long-term goals and priorities. In the past I have often slapped together a list of annual goals that later proved inadequate or not in line with my real priorities. That led to frustrations. I feel that I have a very solid foundation for my annual goals for this year now.”

“I would highly recommend this program for anyone ending their year with a sense of negativity, or the feeling of being stuck. I went from being lost and unhappy about my year, to seeing it for all of its amazing moments of connection, accomplishment, and curiosity. I now have a much clearer sense of Self, and am going into the New Year with a new-found sense of purpose. I am incredibly grateful for that.”

Your review, done together

Completing your annual life review doesn’t have to be a solitary process. In fact, it shouldn’t be!

Accountability and Follow-Through

You’ll stay committed and motivated by doing your review alongside others, along with several check-ins throughout the year.

Fresh Perspectives

You’ll get valuable insights and feedback from diverse people with different viewpoints, revealing blind spots you might miss on your own.

Deeper Reflection

Community discussions will help uncover recurring patterns and themes, leading to deeper personal insights.

Support and Collaboration

You’ll meet people on the same wavelength who value personal growth and even share similar interests and endeavors.

“The Annual Review workshop is a masterpiece, thoughtfully designed to deliver content, interaction, and an overall experience, to psychologically shape me to dive deep in discovery and ultimately get the most value possible from the investment of time and energy put into doing an annual review.

You can find self-guided annual review templates freely proliferated on the internet, but never have I been expertly guided in such a unique way that unlocked twice as much as I could alone. Plus and perhaps most of all to remember, connect, and create alongside a brilliant, supportive community of individuals committed to moving their intentions for the year into action. It’s priceless.”

Meet your guide: Tiago Forte

I’ve been doing annual life reviews for 18 years now, and they’ve changed my life.

What began as a simple journaling exercise has evolved into a powerful introspective ritual that reliably renews my clarity, focus, and motivation.

Through this journey, I’ve built a career I could never have envisioned, grown a successful multi-million dollar business, and achieved personal goals I once thought were out of reach.

Each year, I reflect on my most important lessons learned, accomplishments, and areas for growth, helping me navigate major life transitions without forgetting my values and principles.

I’ve even gone as far as sharing my annual life reviews publicly, which has held me accountable and given others a window into my thinking (you can read them here). Of course, sharing your review publicly is completely optional.

My team will guide you through the exact process from my new book, Life in Perspective, session by session. In the Premium Edition, you’ll also work with me directly in three small-group coaching calls.

This isn’t just theory. It’s the exact practice that has transformed my own life year after year.

Join me in this transformative ritual, and find out what it looks like to reach your potential in 2027.

“I heard about the annual review process at a time when I really wanted to sort through some dilemmas in my head about my work and personal life. I hesitated about signing up because I needed more than some goal setting exercises. But once I realised that what was on offer was actually a deep life review with the goal setting as almost a side product, I got involved.

The process was as much a buffet of thought provoking optional sessions as a five step process from past through to future. The overall effect was significant for me and clearly for many others as well. There was no hoopla or guru bullshit, just well constructed adult ideas, facilitation and interaction. It evoked in me a great mix of inner calm and inspiration to make some important changes. Thank you Tiago and colleagues.”

Wondering if this is right for you?

This is perfect for you if you’re looking for:

  • A clear and confident headspace: Get out of the fog and find clarity for what is most important to you in 2027.
  • Real plans, not just wishes: We’re talking actionable steps, not just fluffy dreams.
  • Peers on the same page: Because figuring stuff out is more fun with others.
  • A creative nudge: An unconventional and surprisingly creative way of making future plans.

This might not be for you if you:

  • Aren’t ready for honest self-examination: This process works best when you’re willing to take a hard, truthful look at your year, including what didn’t go as planned.
  • Can’t carve out time during the holidays: The program runs Dec. 3 - Jan. 21, with a break over the holidays. If this season is too hectic for you to dedicate time to reflection, it might not be the right fit.
  • Want someone else to do the work: We provide structure, live guidance, check-ins, and community support, but the insights come from your own reflection between sessions.

“The greatest value of this workshop came from being introduced to this group of people. It’s been a struggle for me to find ambitious, supportive, and motivated people to work with. Somehow, you’ve found dozens and cultivated an environment of creativity, collaboration, and community that made the sessions exponentially more effective. At the end of the weekend, I had a finished project that I am proud of, but more importantly, I’ve found a community that I can grow with and that is priceless.”

Answers to your top questions

What makes this program special?

This year’s Annual Review® program walks you through completing your annual life review step by step, based on the complete methodology in Tiago’s new book, Life in Perspective. Instead of working through it on your own, you’ll do each step live with our team, alongside hundreds of fellow participants, over seven weeks.

Each session recaps the key ideas, so you’ll have enough context even if you haven’t read the book. The Premium Edition adds three small-group coaching calls with Tiago.

What are the dates and times for the live sessions?

All six sessions take place on Thursdays, 12 pm – 1 pm ET (view in your timezone), with a break over the holidays. You’ll find the full schedule above. All sessions will be recorded so you can rewatch them later.

Premium coaching calls with Tiago take place in December and January. We’ll share the exact dates and times with Premium participants.

How much time should I expect to spend on this?

It really depends on you. You can make your annual life review as simple and quick or as deep and comprehensive as you want it to be.

Plan for the six 60-minute live sessions, plus time between sessions to finish the exercises. Life in Perspective recommends setting aside about 8 hours for the review itself, and reading the book alongside the program adds more.

Many participants find greater value in spreading the work over several weeks, giving themselves time to reflect deeply on each phase. The weekly rhythm of the program is designed for exactly that, with a break over the holidays to catch up or go deeper.

How does the live format work?

Each 60-minute session follows the same rhythm: a short check-in, a recap of the key ideas from the chapters, guided co-working time (with breakout rooms), and time to share insights and next steps.

Between sessions, you’ll have a short checklist to complete, using the Annual Review® Toolkit. If you fall behind, that’s perfectly fine. The holiday break is a natural time to catch up, and every session is recorded.

You’ll have access to the Circle community throughout the program and afterward to ask questions, share insights, and connect with other participants. We’ll provide regular check-ins and accountability support to help you maintain momentum, even during the busy holiday season.

How long will I have access to the material?

You’ll retain indefinite access to the Circle community, the Annual Review® Toolkit, and the recordings of all live sessions, so you can revisit them anytime. You’ll also be invited to the quarterly check-in calls throughout 2027.

Are there any requirements to participate in the program?

The beauty of The Annual Review® is its accessibility: there are no specific prerequisites or requirements to join. Whether you’re a seasoned planner or new to the concept, you’re welcome here.

That said, to get the most out of the experience, it can be incredibly helpful to have some raw materials from the past year at your fingertips. Things like journals, personal notes, photographs, or any other records that capture your experiences and thoughts from the year will be valuable. They’ll help you start with something concrete and make your process more personal and meaningful.

Don’t worry if you don’t have an extensive collection of such materials. Even a few notes or memorable photos can serve as a great starting point for reflection and planning. The program is designed to be flexible and accommodating to your unique journey, and we’ll guide you in how and where to collect any existing material you may have.

So, come as you are, with whatever you have from the past year, and we’ll take it from there!

Do I need a copy of the book?

The program doesn’t include a copy of the book, but you can take part without one. The live sessions and the Annual Review® Toolkit give enough context to do every exercise.

That said, reading along is the best way to get the most out of it. If you’re giving a seat to someone, one of your extra copies makes the perfect gift to go with it.

How do I get a free seat?

Order Life in Perspective from any retailer, in any format, then claim your bonuses by November 8, 2026. The number of seats depends on how many copies you order:

  • 2 to 4 copies: 1 Essential seat per copy
  • 5 or more copies: 4 Essential seats plus 1 Premium seat

Free seats are limited and go in the order claims come in. You’ll find all the details in the bonus FAQ.

Can I give my seats to someone else?

Yes. Your Essential seats can go to anyone: a partner, friend, colleague, or family member. You can also keep one for yourself. After you claim your bonuses, we’ll email you a short form where you add an email address for each seat.

I only want one copy. Can I still join?

Yes. Free seats start at 2 copies because the program is built around doing your review together with others. Order a second copy for someone you’d like to do it with, and you’ll both get a seat. You can also enroll in the program when paid enrollment opens later in November.

I’m a Second Brain Member. Is this included?

Yes. The Annual Review® 2027 Essential Edition is included in your Second Brain Membership. It’s the membership’s focus for December and January, in place of the usual implementation sprints, so your own seat is already covered.

Any seats you earn by ordering 2 or more copies are yours to give to friends, family, or colleagues. If you order 5 or more, the Premium seat is yours, on top of your membership.

Still on the fence?

The coming weeks are the perfect window of time to pause, reflect, and take stock of your past year. This is your opportunity to process what you’ve experienced, learn from it, and use it to set goals that are more aligned with your values, which makes them so much more likely to happen.

Once 2027 gets rolling, you know what will happen: your usual routines will return, and the inertia will start building, making it much harder to make a real change. Don’t wait until you feel overwhelmed by the rush of a new year.

By joining The Annual Review®, you’ll enter 2027 with a sense of clarity, focus, and a concrete vision for what success means to you.

You’ve experienced and learned, and progressed so much this past year. Now build on those lessons to explode into 2027 with a level of energy you barely recognize.
